Our Beginning

In 2019, three senior engineers from Grab, Shopee, and Goldman Sachs noticed the same pattern. Bootcamp graduates arrived with certificates but struggled with production realities. Self-taught developers had skills scattered across random tutorials with fundamental gaps.

The tech industry needed practical training that mirrored actual work environments. We built Quass Contr to bridge that gap.

Every curriculum we design starts with one question: what would this person need to succeed on their first day at a demanding tech company? Not their first month. Day one.

That filter shapes everything. We do not teach technologies because they are popular. We teach the skills that solve real problems at scale. Our students debug actual production incidents, review code written by professionals, and make architecture decisions with genuine constraints.

Nobody at Quass Contr teaches full-time. Every instructor maintains an active engineering role at companies like DBS, Carousell, or fast-growing startups. They bring current challenges, tools, and practices directly into the classroom.

When interviewing trends shift, our instructors notice immediately because they are conducting those interviews. When new frameworks gain traction, they evaluate them in production before deciding whether to include them in our curriculum.
